Phobia chp. 6 by ~haluku:iconhaluku:

hey hey hey!!!!

Tenten looked out the window to see him out of the police station, standing alone in the rain…doing absolutely nothing, he was just standing there, like if ready to be strike by the lightening. She rolled her eyes and went to get an umbrella.
_ _

He was too concentrated to the pavement and the things on his mind he didn’t notice her coming his way, not until he felt that an umbrella was above him and when he did he stare into her auburn ogles, wishing he could see through those tempting eyes.
“What would my boss be doing at the police station this late and standing like a statue in the rain when his car was inches away from his reach?” Tenten asked, not curiously but humorously.
“He must be a very concentrated person”
“Do you want to come in?”
“If you’ll like”
“Why do you think I asked?”
He smiled and she smirked.
_ _
“Sir Neji, what were you doing at the police station?” she asked as she hands him a cup of coffee.
“Just searching for some records”
“Oh” her mouth formed the words muted.
“Tenten”
“Huh?”
He looked at her, innocent brown beautifully asking for entrance but the opposite…if only she was like a normal girl, it would have been so easy but Neji wasn’t that kind of guy and Tenten wasn’t that kind of girl.
“Nothing”
“Neji, you’re hiding something dirty aren’t you” she joked.
“I thought you were” but this made her smile disappear and he got the idea…
‘You’re hiding something’
“Yea…I am and I wish it’ll go away”
She admits it and he was frightened of it.
“What happened?”
“Nothing…just the past”
He didn’t force her; he stood and thanked her for the coffee,
“I’ll be on my way now Tenten…take care for me”
“I will and…thanks”
“For what?”
“For many things”
“–” he smiled and leave with her by the doorway as the door slowly closes, he slowly walked to his car…
“Secrete”
_ _

Her head was aching. The past came to haunt her again…
If only the ghost of guilt weren’t there, it would have been a bit bearable.
She remembered nothing but blood.
_ _

“Mom, Dad, what are you doing?” her mother came to embrace her and kissed her on the cheeks.
“Sweetie,” there were no tears in her eyes, in her deep blue eyes; “it’ll only be a minute.”
“Get your ass up you little whore!” she heard her father scold and she was afraid of his touch.
“Daddy! Daddy! What are you doing!” she ran to the corner of the room, trying to conceal herself in her vague thoughts.
“We ain’t got a dime in our pockets! I’ve been working my fucking ass off just for you and your stupid mother! You don’t even belong to us! We’re selling you!”
She was just an innocent child…she knew nothing of buy and sell. She knew nothing of the dark evil controlling the world.
“Mommy, help me!” her mother stood not too far away and smiled awkwardly.
“Just listen to your father sweetie, everything will be fine.”
“Mommy, I love you! I always do mommy! I know you-”
“Shut up!!!” and she gain a bruise from the iron pipe tightly held by her father.
“Careful honey, if she gets a bruise the money will be deducted!”
She didn’t understand why! She was only six years old!
Suddenly a well-dressed man came into the room, his hair long and black. His eyes a pale green color.
“Where is she?”
“Sh- she is there Sir,” and her father pointed at Tenten who was rolled into a ball in the corner, tears were about to fall from her brown ogles.
The man came closer and smiled at her, she didn’t know why.
“Come here sweetie, I won’t hurt you…”
She did as told and he grabbed her, pin her down and was ‘inspecting’ her.
“There’s a damn bruise!” he screamed at her father and apologetic words were heard.
The man took out a gun and points it towards her father,
“We had an agreement, now the money is going to be deducted you ass hole!”
He felt something pulling on his legs,
“Please sir, leave my Daddy alone… I was being really rude so he lashed me.”
The man knelt down and kissed Tenten on the forehead,
“Little girl, your father is trying to sell you for very bad purposes… don’t you want to kill him?”
“It doesn’t matter what he do Sir, he’s still my father and I have no rights to disrespect him.”
The man stood and again points his gun at Tenten’s father and laughed,
“Even a small child has more respect than you!” Then a bullet went through his head…
Tenten screamed and her mother ran.
Blood… blood and more blood…
Next thing she remembered were people… embraces… and then a room that smelt of medicine…
It was a misty…
_ _

Tenten shook her head as she drank the left over coffee in her mug.
“Was it my fault?” it pained her so very much just thinking about it. She tried to ignore the thoughts about the accident and it worked for the night.
